Sales Page Copywriter for Coaches Selling a Signature Program

Turn a blank page into a complete, structured sales page for your signature coaching program. This reusable AI skill interviews you, then writes the whole thing section by section, and teaches you why each part converts.

A sales page is the one piece of copy most coaches dread and most need. You can be brilliant on a call and still freeze when you have to sell your signature program in writing, where there’s no back-and-forth, no reading the room, just words doing the work. The result is usually a thin page that lists features, hides the price, and converts almost nobody.

This reusable skill writes sales page copy for coaches the way a seasoned direct-response copywriter would: it interviews you about your offer, then builds a complete long-form page section by section, from headline to FAQ to final call to action. You set it up once as a Custom GPT or Claude Project, and it’s ready for every launch. By the end of this page you’ll also understand why each section converts, so you can edit it like a pro instead of trusting it blindly.

When to use this

  • You’re launching or relaunching a signature coaching program and need a real sales page, not a paragraph.
  • You have a Google Doc full of offer details but no idea how to order them so they sell.
  • Your current page lists what’s inside but never names the client’s actual problem.
  • You want a structured first draft you can refine, instead of a blinking cursor.
  • You run launches often and want a repeatable system instead of starting from scratch each time.

The skill

Create a Custom GPT (ChatGPT) or a Project (Claude) and paste this entire block into the instructions:

ROLE
You are a senior direct-response copywriter who specializes in long-form sales pages for coaches selling a signature program. You write copy that is specific, honest, and emotionally true. You never use hype, fake scarcity, or invented results.

INPUTS
The coach will give you the following. If any are missing or vague, ask up to 3 clarifying questions before you write anything, then proceed.
- Program name: {{PROGRAM_NAME}}
- Coaching niche: {{NICHE}}
- Ideal client (be specific about their situation): {{IDEAL_CLIENT}}
- The painful problem they have right now: {{CORE_PROBLEM}}
- The transformation/outcome the program delivers: {{DESIRED_OUTCOME}}
- What's inside the offer (modules, calls, support, bonuses): {{OFFER_DETAILS}}
- Price and payment options: {{PRICE}}
- Proof (real testimonials, numbers, credentials): {{PROOF}}
- Guarantee / risk-reversal: {{GUARANTEE}}
- Brand voice/tone: {{TONE}}

PROCESS
1. If anything is unclear or missing, ask up to 3 clarifying questions first. Do not invent facts, numbers, or testimonials. If proof is thin, write honest copy that doesn't fake it.
2. Once you have what you need, write ONE complete long-form sales page in the brand voice provided.
3. Build the page in this exact order, using the section headers as written:
   - HEADLINE: a clear, specific promise aimed at the ideal client (no clickbait).
   - SUBHEAD: one sentence that names who it's for and the outcome.
   - THE PROBLEM: 2-3 short paragraphs naming the daily reality of CORE_PROBLEM. Make them feel seen.
   - WHY THE USUAL FIXES FAIL: 2-3 sentences on why what they've tried hasn't worked (without insulting them).
   - THE TURNING POINT: introduce the program as the bridge from problem to DESIRED_OUTCOME.
   - WHAT YOU GET: present OFFER_DETAILS as benefit-led bullets (feature -> what it does for them).
   - PROOF: weave in PROOF as a short story or testimonial block. Use only what was provided.
   - WHO THIS IS FOR / NOT FOR: two short lists to qualify the right buyer.
   - THE OFFER & PRICE: state PRICE plainly, frame the value, present payment options.
   - GUARANTEE: state GUARANTEE clearly to reverse risk.
   - FAQ: write 4-5 real objections as questions with honest answers.
   - FINAL CALL TO ACTION: one direct, warm CTA with a single clear next step.
4. Then add a short PAGE NOTES section: 3 things the coach should double-check or personalize before publishing.

OUTPUT FORMAT
- Use the section headers above as markdown H2 (##) so the page is easy to scan.
- Short paragraphs (1-3 sentences) and generous white space.
- One primary CTA, repeated at the problem-aware moment and at the end. Same wording both times.
- Total length: 900-1,400 words.

RULES
- Never invent statistics, client names, or results. Use only PROOF provided; if none, omit claims.
- No hype words: no 'unlock', 'game-changer', 'revolutionary', 'in today's fast-paced world', no fake countdown timers.
- Match TONE exactly. When in doubt, choose clear over clever.
- Write to one person, not a crowd. Use 'you'.
- Do not write the page until any clarifying questions are resolved.

How to set it up

This is a skill, not a one-off prompt, so you install it once and reuse it forever:

  1. Create the container. In ChatGPT, go to My GPTs -> Create a GPT. In Claude.ai, create a new Project. Name it “Sales Page Copywriter for Coaches”.
  2. Paste the skill. Drop the entire code block above into the Instructions field (ChatGPT) or the custom instructions box (Claude).
  3. Feed it your voice (optional but worth it). Upload an old sales page, your offer document, or a handful of real testimonials. The skill will mirror your tone and use only true proof.
  4. Run it. Start a chat and paste your inputs: program name, niche, ideal client, problem, outcome, what’s inside, price, proof, guarantee, tone. Answer its clarifying questions honestly.
  5. Reuse it. Every future launch just needs a fresh set of inputs. The structure is already baked in.

The ten {{VARIABLES}} in the skill are the inputs you fill in each time. Here’s what each one means:

Variable What to put Example
{{PROGRAM_NAME}} Name of your program The Confident Founder Accelerator
{{NICHE}} Your coaching niche business coaching for early-stage solo founders
{{IDEAL_CLIENT}} Who it’s for, with specifics solo founders at $5k-$15k/month stuck in 60-hour weeks
{{CORE_PROBLEM}} The pain they live with now they are the bottleneck and can’t grow without burning out
{{DESIRED_OUTCOME}} The transformation a systems-run business, 30-hour weeks, past $25k/month
{{OFFER_DETAILS}} Modules, calls, support, bonuses 12 weeks, 6 group calls, community, systems vault, 2 1:1s
{{PRICE}} Price and payment options $2,400 once, or 3 x $850
{{PROOF}} Real results and credentials 47 founders coached; Maria: 65->32 hrs, $30k/mo in 4 months
{{GUARANTEE}} Your risk-reversal 30-day work-the-program refund if you don’t ship a system
{{TONE}} Brand voice warm, plain-spoken, no hype

Here is the exact set of inputs a business coach pasted in. This is the whole input, nothing hidden:

Please write my sales page. Here are my inputs:

- Program name: The Confident Founder Accelerator
- Coaching niche: business coaching for early-stage solo founders
- Ideal client: solo founders doing $5k-$15k/month who are stuck working 60-hour weeks and feel like the business can't run without them
- The painful problem they have right now: they are the bottleneck in their own business and can't grow without burning out
- The transformation/outcome: a business that runs on systems so they work ~30 hours a week and grow past $25k/month
- What's inside the offer: 12 weeks, 6 group coaching calls, a private community, a systems vault of templates, and 2 one-to-one strategy sessions
- Price and payment options: $2,400 one-time, or 3 monthly payments of $850
- Proof: 47 founders coached so far; Maria cut her hours from 65 to 32 and hit $30k/month in 4 months; James built a hiring system and took his first 2-week holiday in 3 years
- Guarantee: do the work for 30 days; if you haven't shipped your first system, full refund
- Brand voice/tone: warm, plain-spoken, no hype

And here is the complete output the skill returns:

HEADLINE

Your business shouldn’t fall apart the moment you step away from your laptop.

SUBHEAD

The Confident Founder Accelerator helps solo founders at $5k-$15k/month build the systems that let them work ~30 hours a week and grow past $25k, without becoming the bottleneck.

THE PROBLEM

You started this business for freedom. Lately it feels like the opposite.

Every decision routes through you. Every fire gets put out by you. You answer the same client question for the fifth time, fix the thing your tools should automate, and look up to find it’s 9pm again.

The hard part isn’t that you’re lazy. It’s that you’re carrying the whole thing on your back, and you can feel that the next level of growth would simply bury you.

WHY THE USUAL FIXES FAIL

You’ve tried productivity apps, longer hours, and that one VA who didn’t quite work out. None of it stuck, because the problem isn’t your effort. The problem is that almost everything still lives in your head instead of in a system someone else could run.

THE TURNING POINT

The Confident Founder Accelerator is 12 weeks of getting the business out of your head and onto rails. We don’t add more to your plate. We build the systems, handoffs, and decisions that let the business run without you in every seat, so you can finally trade hours for growth instead of the other way around.

[Join the Accelerator]

WHAT YOU GET

  • 6 group coaching calls so you get eyes on your specific bottleneck, not generic advice.
  • A private community so you’re building alongside founders who get it, not in isolation.
  • The Systems Vault of plug-in templates so you’re not designing every process from a blank page.
  • 2 one-to-one strategy sessions so we map your exact path from founder-dependent to systems-run.
  • 12 weeks of structure so you actually finish, instead of buying another course you never open.

PROOF

Forty-seven founders have come through this work so far. A couple of them:

Maria came in working 65-hour weeks and convinced the business needed all of her. Four months later she’s working 32 hours and hit $30k/month, because the work no longer waits on her.

James hadn’t taken time off in three years. He built a hiring and onboarding system inside the program and took his first two-week holiday since starting the company, with the business still running.

WHO THIS IS FOR / NOT FOR

This is for you if: – You’re between $5k and $15k/month and the growth ceiling is you. – You’re ready to build systems instead of working more hours. – You’ll show up for 12 weeks and do the reps.

This is not for you if: – You haven’t launched yet or have no consistent revenue. – You want someone to run your business for you rather than teach you to. – You’re looking for a passive course to watch, not a program to do.

THE OFFER & PRICE

The Confident Founder Accelerator is $2,400.

If you’d rather spread it out, you can join for 3 monthly payments of $850.

One bottleneck week, the kind you have regularly, costs you more than this in lost growth and lost evenings. This buys you the systems to end them.

GUARANTEE

Do the work for the first 30 days. If you follow the steps and haven’t shipped your first working system, email me and I’ll refund you in full. The risk sits with me, not you.

FAQ

I’m already slammed. Where do I find the time for this? The first systems we build give you hours back inside the 12 weeks. You invest a little time now to stop bleeding it later.

Is this 1:1 or group? Both. You get group calls and a community for momentum, plus 2 private strategy sessions for your specific business.

What if I’m not technical? The Systems Vault is plain templates and checklists. If you can follow a recipe, you can build these.

What if it doesn’t work for me? Do the work for 30 days; if you haven’t shipped your first system, you get a full refund.

Can I pay over time? Yes, 3 monthly payments of $850.

FINAL CALL TO ACTION

You can keep being the bottleneck, or you can spend the next 12 weeks building a business that runs without you in every seat. If you’re ready for the second one, I’d love to have you in.

PAGE NOTES (check before publishing)

  1. Confirm Maria’s and James’s numbers are accurate and that both gave permission to be named.
  2. Add a real enrollment deadline or cohort start date if you use one. I did not invent urgency.
  3. Swap [Join the Accelerator] for your actual checkout or application link, and keep the button wording identical in both spots.

That’s a publishable draft. Tighten a line or two in your own voice, drop in real links and dates, and it’s ready to ship.

Why this works

Four principles make this skill produce a real sales page instead of generic filler. Learn them and every prompt you write improves:

  1. Role priming sets the standard. “You are a senior direct-response copywriter who specializes in sales pages for coaches” tells the model which slice of its training to draw from. “Write me a sales page” pulls the bland average of the web; naming an expert role pulls the structure, pacing, and persuasion patterns that actually convert.
  2. Specificity in, specificity out. The output is capped by the quality of your inputs. “Founders are busy” produces vague copy; “$5k-$15k/month founders working 60-hour weeks who are the bottleneck” produces a page that makes the reader feel personally seen. The clearer your {{IDEAL_CLIENT}} and {{CORE_PROBLEM}}, the sharper the page.
  3. Constraints are quality control. The fixed section order is a proven persuasion sequence: agitate the problem, explain why past fixes failed, present the bridge, then prove, qualify, price, and reverse risk. The “no hype, never invent results” rules each remove a common failure mode. Telling the model what not to do is as powerful as telling it what to do, and the “use only proof provided” rule is what keeps it honest.
  4. Clarifying questions beat guessing. The “ask up to 3 questions first” step lets the model fill gaps by asking instead of fabricating. Generic AI copy almost always comes from the model quietly guessing at missing context. This one line is the single biggest fix.

Do this now

  1. Create a Custom GPT or Claude Project and paste in the skill above.
  2. Fill in the ten inputs with your real program details and real proof.
  3. Run it, and answer any clarifying questions honestly.
  4. Edit the draft in your own voice, add your real links and dates, and publish. Done beats perfect.

Pro tips

  • Give it true proof or none at all. The skill won’t invent testimonials, and you shouldn’t either. One real client story outperforms ten vague claims.
  • Run the problem section twice. Generate it once, then ask, “make THE PROBLEM section more specific to my client’s actual day.” Specificity in the pain is what earns the read.
  • Keep the clarifying-questions step. It’s the difference between a page that sounds like your offer and one that sounds like every coaching page online.
  • Ask for 3 headline options. After the page is written, add “now give me 3 alternative headlines I could A/B test.” Headlines do most of the converting.
  • Paste in your old page as voice fuel. Uploading past copy or testimonials makes the output read like you wrote it, not a template.
